About this unit
In this unit children learn to continue to develop there understanding of a learning platform. Using the fronter portal to access homework, tests, forums and discussions and search for others to send stickies and use IM.
To continue to develop there own home page and celebrate good work and other ICT skills. In addition uploading documents projects and using the Hand-In folder for work marked by a teacher. Using sound and multimedia to highlight good work and resources found on the Internet that can help them and their peers to further extend their ICT skills.
Where this unit fits in
This unit builds on earlier units which introduce and begin to develop basic skills in using Fronter as a learning platform.
The unit assumes that children can use log on to Fronter using there user name and password. They are familiar with the personal tools and room tools and can navigate around the virtual school with confidence.
